At about 3 p.m. on the 6th of the first lunar month of the Chinese New Year, a commercial vehicle was stopped by several old comrades wearing masks and red armbands as it was driving to the epidemic inspection point at the entrance of Gexiang village’s Tangshan Street in Nanjing City.

 

"You are forbidden to enter the village, because you are from foreign villages." Several old villagers thus gave them their marching orders. The people in the car asked: “Is everyone from outside the village not permitted to go into the village? " "Yes, whoever comes here, we would force them to leave quickly," the old comrades answered firmly.

Though being forbidden to enter the village, the inspector felt quite satisfied. He asked: "Are there any people with a fever in the village?" The old comrades answered: "No! Even people going out to work didn't come back through."

After finishing his words, the old comrades urged the commercial vehicle to leave as soon as possible: "If you have nothing else to do, please leave as soon as possible."

At that moment, the occupant of the car revealed his identity with a smile: "I am the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Lou Qinjian. I am here to check the strictness of your village management.

Lou Qinjian said that strengthening the management during the prevention and the control of the new coronavirus required exactly this kind of impartial working style. He was relieved seeing their strict management. 

On the same day, the same thing also happened in Heilongjiang Province.

 

On January 30, the governor of Heilongjiang Province Wang Wentao hurried to Qiqiha’er and Harbin City for research. At the entrance of the Qiqiha’er Expressway, the inspectors stopped his car and stepped forward from both sides of the car to check the passengers' temperatures. 

The video showed that Wang Wentao was wearing a mask, and had the car windows open, and the inspector asked as he was checking their temperature: "How many people are there in the car?"

Wang Wentao answered: "Four people."

The inspector said: "Fine, all four peoples’ temperatures are normal."

After that, when checking and monitoring the prevention and control at the entrance of the expressway, Wang Wentao carefully went through the flow of the cars and checked the situation of vehicle registration, praised the inspectors' behavior of using the effective and popular with common people, of wearing medical x-ray home-made goggles and protective masks to tackle the shortage of medical supplies and said he would promote this effective method across the whole Heilongjiang Province.

Frankly, the epidemic disease came without any omen. Currently, our country is facing a tough war. The cadres’ unannounced inspections for prevention and control of the infective disease can not only know the real situation of the disease, but directly gives the public confidence and power to defeat the disease when we are united
